Job summary

YWCA Richmond is seeking a Center Director to lead the Sprout School, ensuring high-quality instructional delivery, curriculum implementation, staff training, enrollment growth, and strong family relations.

The role requires managing budgets, P&L, HR coordination, and facility needs while upholding state and funder requirements. You will serve as a liaison with staff and families to promote an inclusive, high-performing early education program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field; master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple licensed schools, childcare centers, or preschools.
• Experience opening new childcare locations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enrollment and fill openings as needed.
• Maintain children's files in accordance with state regulations and funder/accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate with Facilities Director on facility needs and supervise staff with timesheet and performance management.
• Provide family engagement opportunities and maintain positive family relations; represent the school in regulatory inspections.
