Job summary

Signal Centers is seeking an Early Childhood Quality Coach to support referral, education and training of childcare educators, focusing on Enhanced Quality Improvement Plans (EQIP) in the Shelby County area. The role emphasizes coaching and training for adult learners and requires travel within the service area.

The position supports regional implementation, builds strong community partnerships, and contributes to improving the quality of childcare services compliant with CCR&R initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to train adult learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field; Minimum 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, training, technical assistance and support to local child care educators in assigned service areas.
• Collaborate with specialty coaches to provide targeted technical assistance to child care educators.
• Stay current on emerging research in the field of early childhood education.
• Deliver scheduled training events for the quarterly training calendar both virtually and in person.
• Become a CPR/First Aid certified trainer.
• Contribute content to CCR&R newsletters as requested.
