Job summary

Signal Centers in Tennessee is seeking a Family Child Care Coach responsible for training, coaching, and supporting family and group child care providers across the service area. The role requires coordinating in-person and virtual trainings, onsite visits, and content creation for resources and newsletters to strengthen program quality.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education, Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Studies, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of three years of early childhood/education experience.
• Direct care experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned Tennessee service area.
• Must be able to work from a remote home environment within the state of TN.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during weeknights or weekends.
• Provide in-person and virtual training in large and small group settings.
• Conduct onsite visits to family and group child care programs.
• Assist with planning and delivery of the Family & Group Child Care statewide conference.
• Submit data on training and coaching within 3 days of when service was delivered.
• Collaborate with applicable State agencies.
• Achieve and maintain First Aid/CPR instructor certification provided by CCR&R.
• Positively market the CCR&R Network to the community.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
