Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a CBO Services Support Coordinator to guide families and agencies through CPS referral processes, provide administrative support, monitor progress, and coordinate across CPS, OECE, and CBO partners. The role is grant-funded, full-time, and salary-based.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood Education or related field preferred) and experience with community partnerships, multi-agency coordination, and navigating public systems.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting early childhood programs or public systems
• Experience coordinating with Community-Based Organizations (CBO) and multi-agency partnerships
• Strong understanding of CPS referral and evaluation timelines
• Ability to train partners on administrative referral processes and paperwork

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative process support for CBO partners and families through the CPS referral process.
• Notifies stakeholders of upcoming evaluations and assists with scheduling logistics and access to resources.
• Supports cross-department coordination to remove administrative barriers in the evaluation process.
• Assists CBOs in assembling complete CPS referral packets and monitors submission progress.
• Provides technical assistance for teachers and programs as needed.
• Monitors CPS databases (ASPEN, IMPACT, COPA) for up-to-date milestones.
• Collaborates with program administrators to resolve enrollment, transportation, and scheduling issues.
• Ensures consistent practices across CBOs, schools, and OECE teams.
• Other duties as assigned
