Job summary

Westwood Children’s School in Massachusetts is seeking a Program Director to begin in the summer of 2026. The role will require strong leadership to guide a licensed and accredited early childhood program providing high-quality care.

The candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred), ECED director certification, and extensive proficiency with Microsoft Office and communications tools. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Masters in Education preferred).
• Director 1 EEC Certified.
• Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with or ability to learn Constant Contact.
• At least three years experience as a Director at a licensed and accredited program.
• Extremely detailed and accuracy-oriented.
• Exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to create a warm, welcoming and positive culture.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others, collaborate and remain calm under pressure.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility and willingness to assist teachers when needed.

Company Overview

The Westwood Children’s School was founded in 1987, providing 52 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with a nurturing, caring and supportive environment. We are open year-round, Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 5:45pm and all children attend 5 days/week. We are licensed by the state of Massachusetts and are proudly accredited by NAEYC.

Position

Our current director is relocating, and we will be looking for a new Program Director to begin in the summer of 2026.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time salaried position. Competitive salary, commensurate with expertise and experience.
