Job summary

Save the Children US in Indiana, Portland seeks a Program Aide to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers with educational, relational and social activities across multiple sites. You will assist with classroom, kitchen and bus route duties while upholding child-safety standards and our core values.

The role reports to the Education & Inclusion Manager or Center Director, requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/first aid certification within 90 days of employment where required.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
• Support teachers in program operations (Family Nights, newsletters, etc.).
• Provide custodial and kitchen assistance as needed.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality of children and families.
