Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a Program Aide to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with educational, relational, and social activities in Head Start programs. You will report to the Education & Inclusion Manager or Center Director and may travel between program sites and home visits as required.

The role emphasizes safety, child protection, and adherence to Head Start standards, with duties ranging from classroom assistance to basic kitchen and janitorial tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Requires basic understanding of infant/toddler/preschool development and safety.
• Proven ability to follow written and oral instructions and work with diverse families.
• Must be able to work with children with disabilities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational, relational and social experiences for children.
• Assist with classroom activities and support teachers as needed.
• Perform custodial and kitchen tasks as assigned to support program operations.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and compliance with Head Start standards.
