Job summary

Mt. Hood Community College seeks a bilingual early childhood evaluator to support Preschool for All quality improvement by implementing observation and assessment practices in early learning settings.

You will conduct observations, analyze data, and collaborate with coaching staff to inform reflective practice and goal setting. As a Trainer of Trainers, you will build internal capacity by training CCR&R staff in using observation tools, maintain documentation, and participate in calibration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• 3 years in early childhood settings with classroom practice.
• 2 years conducting observations/assessments with quality tools.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Experience incorporating equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observations and assessments in PFA classrooms using quality tools.
• Analyze data and share findings with coaches to support improvement.
• Schedule observations and coordinate with providers for timely implementation.
• Serve as Trainer of Trainers for observation tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of observations, assessments, trainings.
• Participate in calibration and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with management to address PFA needs and quality improvements.
