Job summary

Pacific Clinics in Pasadena, CA seeks a Mentor Coach Coordinator to lead Head Start/Early Head Start program initiatives. You will coordinate assessments of teachers and environments, provide professional development, and implement reflective supervision and coaching strategies to improve classroom quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating program observations, data collection on child outcomes, and supporting staff through mentoring to enhance interactions and culturally responsive

Qualifications

• Must have BA/BS in Education, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• Two years directly related experience in Early Childhood development teaching, with knowledge of ECE practices.
• 3 ECE Units in Mentor Teacher preferred.
• Familiar with CLASS, DRDP, ECERS/ITERS evaluation tools.

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive outcomes for children by improving the quality of teacher instruction and learning environments.
• Coaches and mentors teaching staff regarding developmentally appropriate best practices for infants/toddlers and preschoolers.
• Assists with assessments on growth and development of children and teacher/child interactions using DRDP, CLASS, ITERS/ECERS tools.
• Conducts CLASS observations and follow-up conferences with teaching staff using mentoring strategies.
• Plans goals to improve teaching practices with focus on interactions with children.
• Provides supportive feedback and models CLASS observations.
• Prepares School Readiness Goals and Child Outcomes Reports.
