Job summary

Lake Orion Community Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Instructor Assistant in Lake Orion, Michigan, to support preschoolers ages 3-5 and implement the High Scope curriculum under supervision.

The position is a school-year role, full-time, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with immediate start. Required are a high school diploma; an associate degree or CDA is preferred. CPR/First Aid is desirable, and candidates should demonstrate reliability and respectful practice.

• Guide children in resolving conflicts
• Collaborate with colleagues, service providers and supervisors
• Lift a minimum of 40 lbs
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
