Job summary

Bentonville Schools is seeking an Excellent Beginnings - Floater to provide staff breaks and instructional assistance for the Early Childhood program. The role reports to the Program Administrator and is classified as a non-exempt position.

The floater supports classroom teachers, maintains staff-child ratios, and uses data systems to enter family/child information and keep required records. Requires DHS licensing and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Meets DHS Minimum Licensing training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan for and implement pleasant arrivals and departures.
• Use routines to build relationships and learning opportunities.
• Supervise children and maintain breaks and daily schedule.
• Assist classroom teachers in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Utilize technology for family/child data entry and record keeping.
