Job summary

White Birch Center in Henniker, NH is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 2.5 to 5. You will collaborate with a supportive team, plan activities, build relationships with families, and ensure alignment with NH Child Care Licensing requirements.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, ECE credits or documented experience, and at least one year of teaching in an early childhood setting;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 9 ECE college credits or documentation of 1000 hours in a licensed center.
• Minimum of one year experience in an early childhood setting.
• Ability to pass NH Criminal Background Check and DCYF Central Registry Check.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum.
