Job summary

Concord Hospital Learning Center in Concord, NH seeks an Early Childhood Educator to support children's development through a developmentally appropriate curriculum and by observing and documenting learning, while communicating with families and center staff.

Responsibilities include building positive relationships, engaging children to meet developmental needs, teaching self-regulation, and adhering to center policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 ECE credits, including 3 from Child Growth and Development.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification required: Infant/Child CPR with AED and Basic First Aid within 6 months of hire.
• One year’s experience with young children in a group setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates support for classroom team and all co-workers in the Center.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with each child and family.
• Engages with children to meet their developmental and social-emotional needs.
• Models and teaches children self-regulation skills.
• Implements a child-centered curriculum in a safe, organized environment.
• Supports and follows Concord Hospital Learning Center policies and procedures.
• Commits to continual learning and professional development; suggests improvements based on best practice.
