Job summary

Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking teaching staff to support programming for children from infant to school age across our California locations.

You will create developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children's interests and ensure a safe, healthy learning environment. You will foster social-emotional growth, maintain engaging environments, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate with families and communities.

Qualifications

• Education and permit requirements may vary by center needs/require age group specific units depending on the program, such as Infant, Toddler, School-Age, Title 5 or Title 22 status.
• 2 years of experience in a group care environment preferred.
• 1 year of experience supervising adults or equivalent supervision units preferred.
• Effective problem solving, conflict resolution, classroom management, and communication with children and families.
• Effective organization, time management, curriculum, and assessment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum linked to children's interests.
• Create and maintain enriched learning environments age-appropriate for all children.
• Provide excellent customer service through authentic relationships with children, families, and communities.
• Maintain health and safety with proper supervision and compliance.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs.
