Job summary

Metropolitan Family Services is seeking an Education Manager for our Midway, Chicago, IL location. This full-time, on-site role focuses on leading Early Head Start and Preschool initiatives, staff development, and program compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in ECE (PEL required) with 3+ years of administrative experience and ESL/Special Education endorsements. The role includes coordinating with program managers and teaching staff to advance education standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's in early childhood education or related field required.
• PEL required.
• ESL endorsement or enrolled in a program required.
• Special Education Approval or enrolled in a program required.
• 3+ years of experience in early childhood education with increasing levels of administrative responsibility required.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in an early childhood setting, or licensed day care center required.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, procedures, and standards for EHS/HS/PFA/PI programs.
• Monitor programs with quarterly classroom observations and data review.
• Coach and mentor teachers to ensure compliance with curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Recruit, hire, orient, and provide ongoing staff development.
• Prepare and maintain required reports and documentation in collaboration with supervisors.
