Job summary

Metropolitan Family Services in Chicago, IL is seeking an Education Manager for our Midway office to lead Early Head Start and related preschool programs.

You will implement policy, monitor program quality, supervise teaching staff, recruit and develop personnel, and ensure compliance with performance standards and funding requirements.

The position offers a salary range of $68,000–$72,000 annually, strong benefits, and the chance to positively impact children, families, and communities.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience in early childhood education with increasing levels of administrative responsibility.
• PEL required.
• English as a Second Language endorsement or enrolled in a program required.
• Special Education Approval or enrolled in a program required.
• Bachelor's in early childhood education or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, procedures, and standards relevant to EHS/HS/PFA/PI.
• Monitors program quality with quarterly observations and data review.
• Trains and supports teaching staff in curriculum implementation and practices.
• Supports reporting and documentation for content areas in collaboration with leadership.
• Participates in recruitment, hiring, and professional development of staff.
• Collaborates with PPC and other staff on program self-assessment.
