Job summary

TEAM INC Waterbury, CT is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Program Leader to guide a team of educators, supervise staff, and ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across all classrooms. You’ll oversee curriculum implementation, analyze child outcomes to drive improvements, ensure compliance with Head Start and state licensing, and partner with families to build strong community connections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• 5+ years of experience in early childhood, including 2+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of Head Start performance standards.
• Coaching mindset valuing collaboration and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of educators with regular observations, feedback, and 1:1 supervision.
• Oversee curriculum implementation ensuring instructional quality across all classrooms.
• Analyze child outcome data to drive improvements in teaching practices.
• Partner with the support team to ensure every child receives needed services.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development for all teaching staff.
• Ensure classrooms comply with Head Start, Early Start CT, and state licensing standards.
• Support teachers in building family partnerships and community connections.
• Contribute to program planning, reporting and quality improvement.
