Job summary

CAP Services Inc. seeks a full-time early childhood assistant at the Family Development Center in Stevens Point, WI.

The role supports the Classroom Manager by preparing and delivering developmentally appropriate lesson plans for ages 0–5, following the Creative Curriculum and center philosophy. Minimum qualifications include a two-year associate degree in Child Care and Development or a CDA/Registry Level 6+, with related classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development with one year of classroom experience for children aged 0–5.
• CDA or Wisconsin Registry Level 6+ with two years of experience with children aged 0–5.
• Provide unofficial transcripts or WI Registry certificate at the time of application.
• Ability to work effectively with multi-cultural children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans aligned with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Support implementation of the program philosophy and Creative Curriculum.
