• CDA certification with 12 hours of child development coursework required.
• Must meet Michigan licensing requirements for a Program Director.
• Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and ability to manage a child care facility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Children’s Educational Services site, including staffing, scheduling, and parent communication.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and MHC policies.
• Coordinate with the Child Development Manager to develop goals and implement program policies.
• Manage budgets for grant-based partnerships and monitor program finances.
• Mentor new Child Development programs related to grant-based partnerships; supervise staff.
• Support licensing and regulatory requirements and participate in program improvement efforts.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Current CDA Certificate with 12 hours of Child Development classes
