Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood development and ability to manage a child care facility.
• Demonstrated ability to assist with development and management of the child development department.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for a Program Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day responsibilities of the site including staffing, scheduling and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with families, staff and the Child Development Manager to set goals and policies.
• Ensure program operates within budgetary parameters and meets grants requirements.
• Maintain licensing standards and ensure regulatory compliance (LARA).
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance and program outcomes.
• Collaborate with community agencies for program compliance and implementation.
• Respond to questions and concerns from parents and staff promptly.
