Job summary

The Family Tree, Inc. is seeking an on-site Early Childhood Coach to support licensed child care programs through coaching, consultation, and professional development in Baltimore.

You will collaborate with family child care providers, center-based programs, and community partners to strengthen program quality using evidence-based coaching practices including PBC and FAN. The role requires fostering improvement in instructional practices, supporting accreditation efforts, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or closely related field.
• 5 years’ experience in early childhood education settings.
• Ability to travel throughout Baltimore City and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct on-site and virtual coaching visits and reflective conversations.
• Provide coaching that enhances instructional practices and learning environments.
• Deliver professional development aligned with MSDE Core of Knowledge.
• Develop quality improvement plans and support Maryland EXCELS and accreditation efforts.
• Maintain documentation in required data systems and support outreach activities.
