Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: 60 semester or 90 quarter college credits OR a high school diploma/GED and a passing ParaPro score of at least 460.
• AND 2 years of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Assisting teachers and staff in educational functions to maintain a safe, diverse, and productive learning environment; reinforce classroom learning and programs.
• Assisting students in learning processes; reinforce positive behavior and provide individual instruction.
• Monitor and supervise student activities; de-escalate confrontations and enforce district policies.
• Record data for academic and behavioral assessments; maintain files and progress notes.
