Becker School District is seeking an ECFE Teacher/Early Childhood Screening Assessor for the Early Education Center. The role focuses on delivering high-quality programs that support young children’s development and strengthen families through education and resources.

The candidate will plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences, connect families with community resources, and may conduct home visits to provide individualized support and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

• PreK or Birth to age 6 Early Childhood Education License required.
• Dual licensure in Parent Education is preferred.

About Becker District/School

Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. Position Summary

The position is with the Early Education Department at the Early Education Center (EEC). Under the guidance of the Early Education Coordinator and the direction of the Primary School Principal, the Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Teacher/Early Childhood Screening Assessor is responsible for providing high-quality early childhood programming that supports the healthy development of young children and strengthens families through education, resources, and meaningful parent‑child interactions.

This role develops, plans, and implements developmentally appropriate learning experiences for parents and children while fostering positive relationships and promoting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The ECFE Teacher connects families with community resources and creates an inclusive, engaging learning environment that supports the unique needs of each child and family. As needed, the position may also conduct home visits with families to provide individualized support, strengthen family partnerships, and connect families with appropriate resources and services.

In addition, this position is responsible for conducting developmental screenings for children ages 3–5 in accordance with Minnesota Department of Education guidelines and State of Minnesota statutes and rules. The Screening Assessor works collaboratively with families and district staff to assess children’s developmental progress, identify potential areas of concern, provide families with screening results and appropriate resources, and facilitate referrals when needed.

Work Schedule

Hours range from 430–770 annually and vary based on enrollment.
