Qualifications

• US high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Current CDA or ability to complete within one year of hire preferred.
• Knowledge of child development preferred.
• Experience working with children ages three to five preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher and Assistant Teacher in carrying out daily classroom activities and schedules.
• Assist with follow-through and evaluation of the daily lesson plan.
• Ensure classroom has needed materials and supplies.
• Input child behavior observation notes for individualization.
• Participate in Open House and class/center events.
• Use PBIS to direct and guide children.
• Assist with bus monitor duties if needed.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and clutter-free classroom.
