Job summary

CLACKAMAS COUNTY CHILDREN'S COMMISSION, INC. is seeking a Classroom Aide to support the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in delivering high-quality early childhood education. You will help implement daily activities, assist with lesson plans, and ensure materials are ready while maintaining safe, organized classrooms.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED; a CDA (or CDA within 1 year) is preferred, with experience in caring for 3–5-year-olds and strong teamwork and PBIS skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CDA or ability to complete CDA within 12 months of hire preferred.
• Experience working with children ages three to five preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher and Assistant Teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Support follow-through and evaluation of the daily lesson plan.
• Ensure classroom is stocked with materials and supplies.
• Input child behavior observations for individualization.
• Assist with events such as Open House and class/center events.
