Job summary

The Edinburg Center in Bedford, MA is hiring a Behavioral Therapist or BCBA for the Early Childhood Better Together program. You will work with children ages 3 to 5, providing assessments, caregiver coaching, and evidence-based behavioral interventions in home, preschool, and community settings.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in ABA or related field; BCBA requires a master’s in ABA and licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, Child Development, or related field.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions with young children and families preferred.
• Master’s in ABA or related field required for BCBA; MA LABA preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral assessment and caregiver coaching for children ages 3 to 5.
• Conduct observations, caregiver interviews, and functional assessments.
• Develop Positive Behavior Support Plans and skill-building programs.
• Deliver naturalistic, play-based, and relationship-centered interventions in home, preschool, and community settings.
• Coach caregivers and preschool staff using modeling, feedback, and role play.
• Train community partners on behavioral strategies and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with the Mental Health Clinician, OT, Family Partner, and Program Director to coordinate care.
• Support transitions from Early Intervention to preschool and school-based services.
