Job summary

Great Strides Behavioral Consulting Inc is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians in Missouri to support preschool children in ABA programs under BCBA supervision. Roles include 1:1 and small-group sessions in a clinic setting with a play-based natural environment approach.

This position offers training to become RBT certified, mentorship through supervision, and a chance to impact families by delivering structured language, play, social and self-help skills.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• High school diploma required; higher degrees preferred (psychology/education-related).
• ABA experience not required but 1–3 years with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply behavioral principles in interactions with clients.
• Follow a structured curriculum to teach language, play, social, motor and self-help skills under BCBA supervision.
• Assist students to acquire language, academic and social skills.
• Support staff with materials, training and duties.
• Complete daily session notes and other written tasks.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
• Observe and report client progress and behavior.
• Work with the team to implement treatment plans.
• Respond to crises and manage challenging behavior appropriately.
