Job summary

Great Strides Behavioral Consulting Inc in Missouri seeks motivated Behavior Technicians to support ABA programming for young children in a preschool setting. Roles include session-based teaching under BCBA supervision, with full-time and part-time openings and opportunities for RBT certification with mentoring.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, reliable, and capable of maintaining detailed notes and professional communication with families and the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 hours per week availability required.
• High school diploma or higher; related degrees preferred.
• ABA experience not required but preferred for a smoother transition.
• RBT certification preferred; training offered by GSBC.

Responsibilities

• Apply behavioral principles in interactions with clients.
• Follow a structured curriculum to teach language, play, social and self-help skills.
• Assist students to acquire language, academic and life skills per treatment plan.
• Complete daily session notes and other written tasks accurately.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff and participate in meetings.
• Observe and report client condition and behavior; maintain records.
• Work with team to implement treatment plans and reduce inappropriate behaviors.

Skills

Availability to work 10 hours per week

High school diploma or higher

Experience with children preferred

ABA experience preferred

RBT certification preferred

ESDM knowledge preferred

Education

High school diploma

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in psychology/education
