ECE Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Intro Part

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I’m the director of Thrive Englewood, a play-based learning preschool located in Englewood, Colorado. We’re looking for enthusiastic, explorative teachers to join our team!

The About Us Part

Thrive is a nurturing and supportive community of early childhood professionals passionate about the importance of play and discovery. We currently have four locations and aim to build a team of educators who can grow with us and expand into new roles, experiencing both professional and personal growth.

The How Much Will I Make & How Many Hours Will I Work Part

We are hiring a full-time assistant teacher (Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day) with a pay rate between $19.61 and $21.96 per hour plus benefits.

The Responsibilities Part

  • Cultivate a nurturing learning environment responsive to diverse needs
  • Enforce classroom rules and safety procedures
  • Observe, assess, and document students’ learning experiences

Your responsibilities to the parents include:

  • Supporting families as partners in learning, maintaining open communication, and encouraging involvement

To the school and fellow educators, your duties involve:

  • Planning for supplies and equipment needs with lead teachers
  • Attending training sessions and staff meetings
  • Performing other duties necessary for a vibrant educational environment
