$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
The Goddard School, NYC has locations on both the Upper West Side and Upper East Side. We are a school, not a daycare center. We are committed to providing the highest level of stimulating development and warm nurturant care for Infants, and an age-appropriate curriculum for One Year-Olds and up in our Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. Our schools are state-of-the-art facilities with many large sun-filled rooms. We are seeking assistant teachers for our infant/toddler and preschool classrooms to start as soon as possible!
All candidates wishing to be considered for the Assistant Teacher position must meet one or more of the following criteria, in addition to any requirements mandated by their state and/or local licensing authorities:

After a 60-day waiting period, you will be eligible for benefits such as medical insurance (Oxford Health), dental (Guardian Life), accrual of paid-time off, paid holidays, and other benefits as detailed in the Employee Handbook. Sick days begin to accrue upon hiring.
Medical Insurance: The School pays 50% of the monthly premium for a basic individual plan, coverage begins the month after enrollment, which must be elected by the end of the 60-day waiting period. Enhanced coverage, family coverage, and dental/vision are available at additional cost.
Paid Time Off: Employees receive paid leave between December 25 and January 1, seven paid holidays, five sick days per year (accrual begins immediately), and 10 paid personal days annually, which accrue monthly after the 60-day waiting period. Proration applies for hires other than January 1.
