Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities, promote a safe and nurturing learning environment, and assist with Cadence Education programs. This role works under the School Director and leadership to ensure developmentally appropriate care.

Strong English communication, teamwork, and safety awareness are essential. An Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education is preferred, with state licensing requirements considered.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures including allergy protocols, feeding procedures, Safe Sleep practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental needs including following IEPs and behavior plans.
• Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist with documenting and reporting escalated child behaviors.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
