Job summary

Rural Utah Child Development (RUCD) is accepting applications for a Teacher Assistant. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role, Monday–Friday, with a 39-week program year and summers off. Starting wage is $16.91 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must hold CDA credential or enroll in CDA program within two years of hire.
• Ability to work directly with young children in a hands-on classroom.
• Support developmentally appropriate learning experiences and positive guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support curriculum implementation and daily lesson plans.
• Actively supervise and engage children to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist with behavior management, assessments, and documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to enhance educational outcomes.
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment.
