Job summary

Bear River Head Start in Utah is seeking an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant. This full-time, fixed-hours role runs Monday through Friday with an hourly pay of $14.52. Eligible for medical benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance and SEP after 13 months.

Applicants must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) and hold a GED or high school diploma. If hired, the employee may need to obtain CPR/First-Aid, a Food Handler's Permit, and TB test as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or CDA credential; preferred experience with infant/toddler development.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English and have GED or high school diploma.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First-Aid, Food Handler's Permit and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise enrolled children at all times and substitute for teachers as needed.
• Assist with lessons, activities, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities.
• Attend trainings and prepare materials for daily lesson plans.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment and support social-emotional development.
• Prepare meals and CACFP documentation, maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
