Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and complete pre-service training within 90 days in licensed centers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Caregiver in planning and carrying out classroom activities.
• Assist with age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans.
• Supervise substitutes in the same classroom and monitor groups indoors and outdoors.
• Provide individual attention and positive guidance to help children develop self-discipline.
• Follow developmentally appropriate practices and collect developmental data.
• Maintain room and equipment and assist with daily housekeeping tasks related to activities.
