Irving Independent School District is seeking a Baby University Aide to support a safe, nurturing childcare program for Irving ISD employees' children. The role requires 18+ years of age, HS diploma or GED, background check, TB test, and pediatric CPR/First Aid certification, with priority for CDA or Associate degree in Early Childhood.

The Aide will assist in daily care, supervision, and curriculum support, reporting to the Childcare Center Director, in a paraprofessional 30 role for 193 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass a background check and TB test.
• Acquire and maintain pediatric CPR, First Aid.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Two years para childcare experience preferred.
• CDA or an Associate degree in Early Childhood preferred.

Responsabilités

• Care and supervision of a group of children at all times.
• Maintain a safe, neat and orderly environment.
• Greet parents and visitors; maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in curriculum implementation and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Ensure all children are supervised and attend to needs as required.
• Attend professional development, training, and meetings as needed.
