Child Care Teacher

Full-time positions are now available at our newly transitioned full-service center, caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  2. 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  3. Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree required as per Minnesota state regulations: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/9503.0032/
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements, including immunizations, physicals, and training. You will work in person at an early education center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies and legal requirements to ensure children’s safety.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate ranges from $19.75 to $24.10, based on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. Additionally, this role is eligible for a $3,000 hiring incentive after 100 days of employment.
