Child Care Teacher

Full-time positions are now available at our newly transitioned full-service center, caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:
  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree required as per Minnesota Administrative Rules for teacher qualifications https://www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/9503.0032/
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physicals, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and applicable laws, ensuring the safety of children in our care and your own.

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.75 to $24.10. Actual offers will depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other relevant factors. Additionally, this position is eligible for a $3,000 hiring incentive, payable after 100 days of employment.
