Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas, the Compliance & Health Quality Developer Intern will contribute to project work, analyze information, and support the development of solutions that address organizational needs. The Compliance & Health Quality Developer Intern is responsible for learning and applying specific aspects of the organization's processes, programs, and technologies while demonstrating increasing independence and ownership of assigned deliverables. This role will also need to: * Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager.* Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that inform real business decisions.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.* Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience.* Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations.* Maintain complete confidentiality of company business and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies. **What Do You Need to Be Successful?** * Analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills* Innovation, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking.* Enthusiasm to enhance your own professional and personal development.* Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to handle business problems.* Strong communication skills* Crave continuous learning and participate in knowledge exchange with peers.* Passion and desire to learn the ins and outs of the health care industry.* Experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, MVC, CSS, Angular, React, Spring Boot, GitHub and/or Data Analytics.
