What Are Your Responsibilities?

Cybersecurity Operations Interns are responsible for actively participating in HCSC's formal internship program that leverages your skills, knowledge, and capabilities while providing meaningful experience supporting business objectives and member-focused solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas, the Cybersecurity Operations Intern will contribute to project work, analyze information, and support the development of solutions that address organizational needs.

The Cybersecurity Operations Intern is responsible for learning and applying specific aspects of the organization's processes, programs, and technologies while demonstrating increasing independence and ownership of assigned deliverables.

This role will also need to:

• Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager.
• Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that inform real business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience.
• Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of company business and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

Preferred: Java Script (JS) and Python experience are a strong plus.

• Strong interest in technology and pursuing a career in Cybersecurity.
• A strong desire and passion to learn about cybersecurity, computer hacking, and cyber investigations.
• Involvement in IT related associations/organizations or participation in relevant technical competitions is a plus.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to grasp new and unfamiliar concepts.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and support multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 /Windows Servers/Unix OS.

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range $19.13 - $34.17 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
