Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join the W76-1/-2 weapon system team. You will lead test configurations, test planning, system integration, production planning, and annual assessments across development programs.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, perform trade studies, and author test reports for management and customers. A Bachelor's degree and DOE Q clearance are required; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance (Sigma 15 may be required).
• Graduate degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning activities and coordinate with facilities for large-scale tests.
• Perform system integration, production planning, and test execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve anomalies and address issues.
• Author test reports and brief management and customers on status and results.
• Conduct trade studies to identify system-level solutions.
