Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. You will join a scrum team to design, develop, test, and debug software for mission-critical programs, across Linux and Windows environments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or related field, experience with COTS/FOSS integration, and the ability to obtain a government clearance (US Citizenship). Agile practices and modern tooling are used to deliver dependable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Knowledge/Experience in integrating COTS/FOSS.
• Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple operating system environments (Linux/Windows).
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate agile software development activities.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for mission issues.
• Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Apply knowledge of hardware/software to develop software for mission applications and user needs.
• Correct errors, document development, and analyze system capabilities to meet requirements.
