PAR Systems in Minnesota is seeking an early-career Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical and electromechanical systems for automation projects across medical device, crane, and robotics domains. You'll use CAD and simulation tools, contribute to design reviews, and work with a cross-functional team of mechanical, controls, and software engineers to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Travel for on-site integration may be required as part of delivering premier products and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Proficient in CAD; SolidWorks preferred; Excel experience.
• Experience in static/dynamic stress analysis (FEA).
• Knowledge of engineering materials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical automation designs from customer specifications.
• Research components to reduce cost and improve reliability.
• Participate in customer design reviews.
• Produce detailed design drawings for procurement, fabrication, and assembly.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and software engineers on design, assembly, and testing.
• Provide on-site integration, testing and field service support (travel).
