PAR Systems is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team in Minnesota. You will work with design, manufacturing, controls and software engineers to create automated manufacturing solutions and mentor junior engineers.
You will lead design reviews, drive concept to detailing, support machine build and checkout activities, and validate concepts through proofs of concept in our robotics lab. Travel 10-25% may be required.

Every great project starts with a great design. Your experience with SolidWorks and other CAD modeling tools will help bring automation concepts developed by our Advance Engineering team to life. You'll take a lead role in directing small design teams and providing mentorship within the team and be seen as a leader in the mechanical engineering discipline.
You will lead internal and external design review meetings to ensure the overall system design is consistent with PAR's high standards as well as unique customer and project requirements. You'll be hands-on with your designs while supporting machine build and checkout activities and will validate new design concepts through proof-of-concept and feasibility studies in our robotics lab.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll serve as one of the key technical voices shaping the direction of the Mechanical Engineering function. You'll have opportunities to influence standards and drive improvements in how we design and build equipment, helping make our engineering processes more efficient, repeatable, and scalable for future projects.
