Job summary

GITAI USA is seeking an Early Career Electrical Engineer to design, build, and test board-level hardware for spacecraft and robotic systems. This hands-on role covers schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, bring-up, debugging, and system integration.

No prior space experience is required; candidates with hands-on electronics from university labs, robotics, or hardware startups are welcome. You will work onsite in Torrance, CA, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, firmware,

Qualifications

2+ years PCB design experience with Altium or similar ECAD tool.
Experience taking PCB from schematic and layout through fabrication, bring-up, and test.
Hands-on PCBA debugging with standard lab equipment.
Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM.
Strong fundamentals in board-level electrical design.

Responsibilities

Design schematics and PCB layouts for spacecraft and robotic systems.
Take PCBAs from design release through fabrication, assembly, bring-up, and test.
Debug board-level hardware and drive issues to root cause.
Work with mechanical, firmware/software, and manufacturing engineers to integrate hardware into complete systems.
Support hardware testing, failure investigation, and design iteration.
