Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Construction Management professional for our Milwaukee, WI office. This entry-level role will report to our Appleton, WI field office and support Wisconsin Construction Services Team objectives.

You will read plans, help manage daily contract compliance, coordinate with engineers, project managers, and vendors, and contribute to project cost, schedule, and risk reporting as part of a growing national firm with strong safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Entry Level 0 to 1 year of experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills including technical writing.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Ability to work in this country immediately required.
• Uphold health, safety and related policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily contract compliance to project plans and specifications on construction projects and maintain documentation.
• Read, understand, and interpret project plans and contract documents.
• Identify issues in contract documents and propose solutions or refer to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate all internal and external communication relative to the project.
• Assist in reviewing the contractor’s schedule and resource estimates; maintain planning updates.
• Prepare reports detailing project costs, progress, risks, and opportunities for senior management.
