Job summary

HRG is seeking 2027 Civil Engineering graduates to join our Harrisburg, PA office as Early Career Staff Engineers. You’ll work across transportation, water resources, and land development projects, supporting design, drafting, and site assessments.

You will collaborate with PMs and engineers, perform calculations, and gain experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D while expanding your professional skills and licensure potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• 0 to 2 years’ experience in related areas such as subdivision, municipal engineering, stormwater, water/wastewater systems, hydraulics, on-lot systems, environmental assessment, traffic signalization, and safety design.
• Valid US driver’s license and legal work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design/drafting support in collaboration with Project Manager(s)/Project Engineer(s).
• Perform basic calculations and on-site construction observation.
• Prepare plans and profile drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Review design manuals for specs and requirements.
• Assist in preparing drainage, stormwater, erosion control reports for permits.
