Job summary

Dewberry seeks an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join its Boston, MA office. You’ll contribute to designing bridges and related transportation structures, developing contract plans, estimates and specifications, and providing construction support.

As a new graduate, you’ll grow within a team of seasoned professionals, work on steel and concrete projects, and leverage the latest engineering tools to solve challenging problems.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in Structural Engineering; FE preferred.
• Ability to perform field inspections.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with STAAD, MathCad, Tedds or RISA is desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for specific phases of structural project development, including inspection, analysis, design, cost estimates, and technical specifications and reports.
• Additional duties may include shop drawing review, bridge inspection team participation, inspection report assembly, and building modification designs.
