Job summary

Eurest in Houston is hiring for full-time Cold Food (Salad) positions at Briar Lake Cafe. The role requires preparing sandwiches, salads and deli items from a slicing station, while upholding HACCP and cleanliness standards.

Shift runs 5:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with a focus on quality, safety and teamwork. Salary ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with ServSafe certification preferred and prior food service experience helpful.

Qualifications

• High standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures for deli and cold food prep.
• Experience in fast-paced food service environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut deli meats, vegetables and cheeses using slicing equipment.
• Prepare and serve sandwiches, salads and other cold items.
• Maintain proper temperatures and portion control per guidelines.
• Keep counters and prep areas clean and sanitized.
