Job summary

STG International (STGi) is seeking an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor to support the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) at 2900 South Quincy Street, Arlington, VA. This full-time position focuses on helping employees maintain health and performance in a demanding environment.

Required are a master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field, current licensure (LCSW or LPCC) and TS/SCI eligibility; roughly 3 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure – Must be current, unrestricted state license as one of: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
• Security clearance capability – TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Counsels and assists employees with issues affecting job-related performance and personal well-being.
• Evaluates and recommends outside treatment and counseling if necessary.
