The Eaglecrest Laborer position at Eaglecrest Maintenance shop in Juneau, AK, is a hands-on role performing snow removal, equipment operation, and support for snowmaking and lift operations to keep access safe.
Under supervision of the Director of Mountain Operations, you will help maintain the parking lots and surrounding areas, with duties that adapt to daily conditions and seasonal needs.

We are looking for hard-working individuals that are not afraid of manual labor and enjoy working in the outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience operating chainsaws, brush cutters and heavy machinery is a plus but not mandatory. The most important skills are being reliable, on time and bringing a positive attitude to the workplace.
Working on this team can be challenging and rewarding. Every day tends to bring new challenges as the work duties are always changing throughout the summer keeping it fresh and exciting.
This position works Monday through Friday 7:00am -3:00pm. Your office will be located at the Eaglecrest Maintenance shop at 3000 Fish Creek Road.
Under immediate supervision of the Director of Mountain Operations, this position occasionally operates a front-end loader, grader, pickup truck/sander, and snow cats to ensure that the Eaglecrest parking lot, maintenance shop yard, and surrounding areas are clear of snow and safe for vehicle and pedestrian use. In addition to maintaining access and safety, this role directly supports snowmaking efforts and lift operations by ensuring reliable transportation routes, equipment access, and timely snow removal across operational areas.

Not less than 18 years of age;
Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, scheduled and emergency overtime, and be available for required on-call duty; performing work outdoors, year round, in all weather conditions; maintaining physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include heavy lifting, walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time and operating assigned equipment and vehicles; and working under conditions that provide high exposure to the public.
A valid Driver’s license at time of appointment and for continued employment.
